From the Pastor's Desk

From The Associate Pastor’s Desk:

"I'll pray for you." That's what you might hear and it’s comforting to know that someone is lifting you up to the throne of God. It's important for the family of God to lift each other up in prayer. I have seen the power of prayer. God has answered in awesome and miraculous ways.

In 1 Timothy 2:1 God inspired Paul to write "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayer, intercessions, and giving thanks be made for all men". In this time of political campaigning, I'm reminded that we should be praying for our city, state and national leaders?

Can you imagine if all of our leaders were born again Christians, men and women of integrity that put the LORD first? There really wouldn't be debates on many of our issues today. Now, I'm not endorsing or promoting anyone, I just ask that our church lift up our leaders of this great Country.

See you Sunday!

Bro. Michael

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
